Monitoring report “Transparency and Accountability at Local Self-Government Level”
A comparative assessment of Transparency Programs in 12 municipalities in Albania
March 2021 – The main purpose of this report is to assess the proactive transparency of 12 municipalities (Shkodra, Lezha, Kukes, Dibra, Durres, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Vlora, Korca and Gjirokastra), through the monitoring of Transparency Programs. The findings and recommendations of this monitoring report aim to further encourage local government institutions to increase the level of transparency through proactive disclosure of information.
