Endrita Shehu has the role of Project Officer for “SMART Balkans” and works as a researcher for IDM’s “EU and Western Balkans” Programme.  She has vast experience in the civil society sector and a proven track record in evidence-based policy research, capacity and organizational development, as well as stakeholder and partnership management. Before joining IDM, Endrita was a Policy Researcher at European Movement Albania. She has experience in implementing and tracking project deliverables on a national and regional level as well as the necessary skills for mentoring, translating and editing articles as part of the editorial staf for (eurospeak.al and lawjournal.al). Moreover, she has been a Junior Expert for SEI, an EU funded project contributing to the the preparation and management of the information system on European Integration.

Endrita has graduated in the field of “Political Science and International Relations” at Yildiz Technical University as a YTB Alumni. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in “Political Science” profiled in Project Management and Evaluation. Endrita is fluent in Albanian (native), English, Serbian, Turkish and Italian(basic).
