Duration: 1 May 2015 – 30 April 2017
This project is a cooperation partnership between the Swiss Foundation for Research in Social Sciences (FORS) in Lausanne, Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) in Tirana, Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) in Podgorica, Centre for Political Courage (CPC) in Pristina, Institute of Economic Sciences (IES) in Belgrade, Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research of the Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Social Science Data Archive of the University of Ljubljana and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb.
The project aims to establish new data services in the countries of Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and to continue their integration in the national and international landscape for Croatia and Serbia. The project will extend the capacities of selected partner institutions and develop knowledge and tools related to data service infrastructures.
It will bring partner institutions into the fold of an international movement and network that will provide long-term benefits not only to these institutions, but more importantly to the respective national research communities.
With viable new data services in these countries, valuable research data will be saved, preserved, and made available for secondary analysis for the years to come.
