Economic Clusters as Instruments for Women Economic Growth in Shkodra and Lezha Regions

Institute for Democracy and Mediation organized the workshops “Economic Clusters as Instruments for Women Economic Growth in Shkodra and Lezha Regions” on 08 July 2014 in Shkodra and 09 July 2014 in Lezha. These activities were organised in the framework of the project “Empowering Women Economic Growth in Shkodra and Lezha Regions through Women Economic Clusters Capacity Building Development” funded by Regional Development Programme Northern Albania. These workshops aimed to strengthen the capacities of public managers and women associated interested organizations on economic clustering approach. Representatives from Programming and Development Departments of Shkodra and Lezha Regions, local government units of Municipality of Shkodra, Municipality of Vau i Dejes, Commune of Guri i Zi, Regional Development Agencies, Regional Directorates of Agriculture, civil society organizations (Light Steps, The Door, Association of Craftsmen), international organizations (DLDP, RTM Italia, Oxfam) were informed about economic clustering approach and participated in these  activities.
