[vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_column_text]IDM organizes a training on the “Sustainable community-based reintegration of Albanian nationals returning from Syria” taking place on December 21st from 10:00-15:00, in Tirana.

The purpose of the training is to strengthen the capacities of mental health practitioners and social workers regarding the development and implementation of rehabilitation and reintegration processes for returnees from conflict zones. The training will be focused on the content of the “Guideline for mental health practitioners and social workers: On the rehabilitation and reintegration support (R&R) for returning Albanian citizens from conflict zones”. The guideline is conceived as a practical toolkit, which provides practical guidance, exercises, case studies and positive models which guide the work of first-line professionals through the case management process and the provision of services for returnees.

This program is being implemented in Albania by IDM in cooperation with the Observatory for the Rights of Children and Youth and the Women’s Center for Development and Culture in Albania, under the national coordination of the Coordination Center Against Violent Extremism, with the support of the Global Community Engagement and Sustainability Fund (GCERF).

The training session for mental health practitioners and social workers is for professionals from selected areas only.
