Women Empowerment in decision – making

Workshop – Rrëshen, June 2010

The workshop of the project “Women Empowerment in decision – making”, took place in Rreshen. It aimed to raise awareness of local actors and representatives to generate concrete interventions in improving women lives and design a strategy that is guided by women’s needs, priorities and the necessity to ensure their qualitative involvement, role and impact on the local governance and decision making.

A woman Network is built and ready to be used for the overall goal to empower women in Rreshen to be involved at the planning phase of the local budgeting in June 2010.
Participant in this workshop were staff municipality, teachers and parents group and local NPO-s representatives.
