On 29 January 2016 at Hotel “Rogner”, IDM and D4D (Kosovo) presented the platform “Development Indicators” project, which is powered by the “Foundation Open Society Institute” in cooperation with “Think Tank Fund Think Tank Fund of the Open Society Foundations.”
The platform contains over 200 indicators for 6 countries of the Western Balkans in various fields such as economy, government, law enforcement and security, and social development.
The aim of the platform is to promote competition between the countries of the Western Balkans for the performance of institutions through the use of the platform. Standardized collection of indicators for six regional states to enable the comparison of performance between them and thus encourage political leaders to undertake rapid and substantial reforms.
The roundtable was attended by representatives from the university and academia, state institutions responsible for policy development and integration as well as other interested parties.
