Project description:
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to increasing transparent and impartial decision-making of public institutions and to serve the improvement and consolidation of good governance through improvement of legal and regulatory framework in the sphere of prevention of conflict of interest.
More specifically this project aims to make:
- Assessment of the legislative/policy framework and institutional setting and mechanisms set in place for the implementation
- Assessment of the level of implementation and practice in terms of both legal and institutional setting in the sphere of preventing conflict of interest.
- Identify potential gaps and challenges in this area and produce recommendation to advocate for improvements of the legal framework as well as development of an adequate institutional structure to guarantee an effective implementation.
