Tiranë – 22 June 2012  

IDM Research & Innovation Initiative, in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and OSI Think Tank Fund, has successfully completed the spring series 2012 of Weekend public lectures “World of Think Tanks” with 15 MA students of public and private universities in Albania.

These series focused on civil society, media and think tanks, policy cycle and policy products, communication and advocacy, managing think tanks, project cycle, program development and research methodologies. These topics were addressed by the think tanks and academia representatives in Albania.

As one of the participants noted: “During the lecture series the “World of Think Tanks”, I have learned new things regarding research and met interesting people. All this new information will help me in my academic career.”  

Finally, the second round of Weekend public lectures “World of Think Tanks will start from early October to December 2012. The new lecture series will gather new MA and postgraduate students as well as new topics and perspectives on the think tank community in Albania
