The Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager/Researcher to join our team. This role focuses on advancing democratic governance, supporting Albania’s EU accession priorities, and fostering civil society engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects related to governance, EU accession and growth plan.
- Coordinate with governmental institutions, civil society actors, and international partners.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
- Contribute to research, policy analysis, and advocacy initiatives aligned with Albania’s EU integration process.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, International Relations, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in governance, democratic reform, EU integration, or civic space sectors.
- Strong understanding of Albania’s EU accession process, including key priorities in parliamentary reform, democratic institutions, and public administration.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Albanian and English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and multi-stakeholder environment.
What IDM can offer:
We offer full-time employment for one year. The contract includes a probationary period of three months and is renewable every year. The salary will be in accordance with your previous experience as well as the IDM salary scale.
