Branding of Local and Regional Products and Building Marketing and Management Skills

Training; 11 – 12 April; Peshkopi

Institute for Democracy and Mediation in partnership with Agritra Vizion concluded successfully the last training session of the training programme on “Branding of Local and Regional Products and Building Marketing and Management Skills”. This training programme was organized under the activities of the project “Branding: Paving the Path for Promoting and Protecting Local Products in the Cross-Border Region”.

The activity was organized in Peshkopi during 11-12 April 2013.

During the two days of training the participants have got also the possibility to learn from the   representatives of the General Directorate of Marks and Patents who shared their knowledge and expertise with the participants on Albanian trademarks and geographic indication. An interactive quiz tested the knowhow of the local participants on the rules, regulations and practices related to trademarks.

In addition, representatives of Albanian Association of Marketing presented their experience on the trademarks “Alpe Albania” and “Prodhime Jugu” and the relevant successful cases of Albanian local products.

The training was concluded with the awarding ceremony of the certificates for the successful participation in this training programme.
