Policy Brief – The analysis of the complex reality in Albania provides evidence that recognizes the important contribution of the civil society in informing and influencing reforms and processes. Despite the moderately developed Albanian third sector – characterized by highly skilled human resources, expertise and efficient internal structures – the CSI Analytical Country Report reveals some serious concerns related to civil society’s links with the local environment and the levels of civic engagement, impact, sustainability, the socio-political environment where it operates, good governance and accountability values.
