The Institute for Democracy and Mediation, Department for Local Governance and Integrated Development organised the workshop “Local Development Agencies and Women Economic Empowerment in Shkodra and Lezha” on 24 September 2014 in Lezha in the framework of the project “Empowering Women Economic Growth in Shkodra and Lezha Regions through Women Economic Clusters Capacity Building Development” funded by Regional Development Programme Northern Albania.

This workshop was targeted to Local Development Agencies in Shkodra and Lezha and other local and regional public stakeholders to strengthen their capacities on women economic empowerment and enhancing economic clusters. Ms. Arta Nikolli, Project Manager of Local Development Agency of Shkodra (TEULEDA) shared their extensive experience with LERDA (Regional Development Agency of Lezha).  The newly established development agency of Lezha was presented by Mr. Artan Gjola, Executive Director of LERDA.
