IDM presenting comments on Albania’s Road Map on key priorities at PCEI hearing

IDM’s Program Director and expert on EU accession, Gjergji Vurmo, presented today at hearing with Parliamentary Committee of European Integration (PCEI) IDM comments and suggestions on the draft Road Map of the Ministry of Integration regarding the five key priorities of Albania as a condition to launch EU accession negotiations. In view of these priorities and the High Level Dialogue (HLD) between Albania and the European Commission, the Government has developed a Road Map and committed to consult civil society and other non-state actors.

The document, currently under review by the Parliamentary Committee, outlines key measures and actions in the areas of public administration, judicial and anti-corruption reforms, human rights, fight against organized crime and corruption.
