Appropriate Systematization of Mechanisms for Branding Products

Workshop – Peshkopi, 26 – 27 December 2012

Institute for Democracy and Mediation, Department for Local Governance and Integrated Development and Agritra Vizion Center organised workshop No. 3 “Setting up appropriate systematization of mechanisms and procedures for branding products” on 26 and 27 December 2012 in Peshkopi. This workshop was organized in the framework of the series of activities under the project “Branding: Paving the Path for Promoting and Protecting Local Products in the Cross-Border Region” funded by EU Delegation to Albania”.

 

The first day participants representing a variety of local stakeholders and institutions such Dibra Regional Council, staff from targeted communes and farmers participated in this workshop. The second day, participants from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and extensionists contributed with their comments and feedback into the discussions for the preparation of the One Stop Guide.

 

IDM staff held a coordinative meeting with the staff members of ALKA- Center for Sustainable Development as an Overall Lead Partner in this project to discuss and insure the proper implementation of project activities.
