Conference: Security Sector Reform as an instrument for Democratization and Peace in the Western Balkans

The Head of CESA, Arjan Dyrmishi participated to the conference ‘Security Sector Reform as an instrument for Democratization and Peace in the Western Balkans’, organized by the Kosovar Center for Security Studies and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Prishtina on 5 November 2012. The conference was conceived as platform for bringing together independent experts and researchers from the region to discuss on Kosovo’s perspective in the light of the end of International Supervised Independence and the process of Strategic Security Sector Review that is currently taking place in Kosovo.

Arjan Dyrmishi contributed to the first panel discussion that focused on the developments and current context of the Security Sector Reform in the Western Balkan states the challenges posed by new security dilemmas.
