Romario Shehu is a project coordinator focusing on issues of security, good governance, and democracy. Currently, Mr. Shehu is coordinating the implementation of the ‘School as Community Center – Going Beyond the School Framework’-project in several schools in Albania. His research centers around radicalization and violent extremism, but he has also worked on topics related to anti-corruption, public administration, and building community resilience.
Before joining IDM, Mr. Shehu worked as an intern at the Security Policy Directorate – Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Albania and attended several youth programs dealing with democracy, EU Integration, political ideologies, regional cooperation and youth participation in decision-making. Mr. Shehu holds an MSc in International Relations from the University of Tirana and a BA degree in Political Science and International Relations from Epoka University.
Mr. Shehu is fluent in Albanian, English, and Turkish, and he is currently learning Spanish.
