International Workshop – 23-28 October 2011 – Prague

In the frame of the joint project “Western Balkan Rural Extension Network through Curriculum Reform” a TEMPUS project implemented by a consortium of Western Balkan stakeholders from Academia and the third sector, of which IDM is part of , it was organized in Prague on the 23-28 October 2011 the WBREN WORKSHOP.

The project as such aims to develop and improve the competencies of formal and non-formal education professionals, who will create and deliver formal and non-formal, modular based trainings to stakeholders in agriculture and rural development.

The Prague event gathered formal and non-formal partners, which worked together to build the frameworks for the syllabuses, apply the original modules structures into trainings and decide on teaching and learning methods.

The output of this activity shall be the creation of 4 modules, respectively Rural Development, Rural Economy, Rural Sociology and Rural Ecology, which will be delivered to target groups in 2012.

LGID team is working closely with the Agriculture University of Tirana to develop the Rural Development Module.
