The overall aim of the project “Western Balkan CSOs for Global Development” for Albania is to strengthen Albanian’ civil society, their understanding of global development agenda and their involvement in efforts towards global poverty eradication and global justice.
On December 15th and 16th 2016, the advocacy training of the 5 grantees within Slovak Balkan Public Policy Fund was organized by IDM Albania with the facilitation of Ms. Andrea Cox. The training aimed to prepare the grantees for raising awareness activities and participation on advocacy activities that will help them during the dissemination of their policy products in the near future. The training focused on knowing the main principles of advocacy, stakeholder analysis, campaigns and their cycles and the identification of challenges for effective advocacy and capacity needs.
On February 27th and 28th 2017, the advocacy training of the Albanian CSOs representatives was organized by IDM Albania with the facilitation of Ms. Dalina Jashari. Participants were trained on improving their advocacy messages and were equipped with a set of advocacy methods to better represent their interests towards national and EU stakeholders. A special focus was given to sharing the experience and know-how of CSOs from EU13.
