The Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM), a think tank policy institute based in Tirana, Albania, is looking for a Researcher good governance and anticorruption.
The successful candidate will join IDM team and will be offered a renewable one-year contract with a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position is open to applicants with experience in policy research, relevant academic background and program design and implementation in the areas of good governance and anticorruption.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research / policy analysis and prepare policy papers/briefs on issues related to good governance and anticorruption.
- Conduct trainings and other capacity development actions on integrity and good governance
- Contribute to the design and implementation of program activities on governance reforms
- Write projects and support fundraising activities of the Institute’s Governance program
Eligibility
The successful candidate(s) must meet the following requirements:
- Advanced studies (MA or PhD) in law, economics, political sciences or other relevant studies related to good governance.
- At least three-year experience with policy and applied research.
- At least three-year experience in project / program design and coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Albanian.
