Public-Private Partnerships

IDM places specific emphasis on social cohesion through capacity building and sustainability of local structures via Public-Private-Civic Partnerships. The purpose of this mechanism which IDM intends to help replicate nationally is:

  • To develop sustainable mechanisms for civil society structures through public-private partnerships as a means towards participatory governance;
  • To consolidate local governance by encouraging an inclusive approach to policy shaping through developing locally receptive agenda;
  • To gain more support from local business actors
