Independent analysis and Follow-up of EC country reports on Western Balkan countries
December 2015 – Think-tanks organizations from Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia have recently published a comparative analysis of the EU Progress Reports on Western Balkan Countries. This joint initiative is finalized with the realization of an objective analysis of the above-mentioned EU progress reports. This is the first structured attempt to provide an analysis on the basis of a harmonized methodology and unique approach. Besides earlier efforts by CSOs at country level and initiatives in regional level on specific issues of EU Integration, the aim of this publication is to give a comprehensive analysis and commentaries to progress reports. Furthermore, it aims to enrich the public discourse with an objective assessment and to raise awareness of the public on the content of the EC Report at national and regional level.
In addition to the Comparative Regional Overview, Institute for Democracy and Mediation has provided analysis and follow up of the 2015 EC country report for Albania.
