Diori Angjeli

Diori Angjeli is a project assistant and junior researcher focusing on democratization, good governance and civil society development in rural communities. He has helped IDM with landmark projects such as School as Community Center Model, Role of Religion in Society, Trust in Government and many more. Moreover, Diori has also been involved with  CIVILISC and ANRD, which both consider the empowerment of democracy and civil society in the Albanian local communities as their main focus.

Before joining IDM, Diori was an active part of the European Youth Parliament in Albania. In his 4 years of working with the EYP AL, he provided training for the youth, helped organize several conferences and assisted the new officials of these conferences in their first steps toward the organization. Moreover, Diori has been a researcher in the “American Presidents and Albanian Relations”, an exhibition which would be later presented at the Albanian National Museum. Diori holds a BA degree in Political Science & International Relations from the University of New York in Tirana.

Diori is fluent in Albanian (native) and English while he possesses elementary knowledge in the Italian, Spanish and French languages.
