Diori Angjeli is a project assistant focusing on democratisation, good governance and civil society development in rural communities. He has helped IDM with landmark projects such as CIVILISC and ANRD, which both consider the empowerment of democracy and civil society in the Albanian local communities as their main focus.
Before joining IDM, Diori was an active part of the European Youth Parliament in Albania. In his 4 years of working with the EYP AL, he provided trainings for the youth, helped organise a number of conferences and assisted the new officials of these conferences in their first steps toward the organisation. Moreover, Diori has been a researcher in the “American Presidents and Albanian Relations”, an exhibition which would be later presented at the Albanian National Museum. Diori holds a BA degree in Political Science & International Relations from the University of New York in Tirana.
